Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Now Official For U.S Only

Asus has released a slight successor to the Zenfone 2 which was released earlier this year. Touting a model number of ZE551KL, the Zenfone 2 Laser comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. It also features a 5 MP selfie cam, 3GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of expandable storage, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 SoC, Cortex-A53octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz. There is 4G LTE onboard as well as dual-SIM functionality, and a 3,000 mAh battery. This device runs Android 5.0 along with Asus's Zen UI.
"The ZE551KL is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and MVNOs operating on those carriers' frequencies. It won't work on Verizon, Sprint, or other CDMA carriers. The smartphone should become available today at the Asus online store and Newegg.
For the 16GB version, you'll have to pay $199, while the model with 32GB of built-in storage will go for $249. The prices are valid without any requirement of signing a long-term carrier contract, as the phone is being sold unlocked.'
