Saygus V2 with dual SD card slots to start shipping this quarter

The Saygus V2 which was unveiled in February last year, featuring top-of-the-shelf specs as well as dual 128GB microSD card slots. The $549 handset went up for pre-orders that month, and shipments were expected to begin soon.

However, due to several shortcomings that didn't happen and the company kept delaying the shipments last year citing one reason or the other. Now, the company is saying that the device will start shipping this quarter.



Specs-wise, the V2 is powered by a Snapdragon 801 SoC and sports a 5" 1080p screen. It has 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, and packs in a 3,100mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset features a 21MP rear unit and a 13MP front shooter. There's also a fingerprint scanner, and the device is IP7X-certified.
