Blackberry Neon Press images released ahead of next month's launch

With the BlackBerry Priv a relative success, the Canadian OEM is set to launch the Neon into the smartphone market. Unlike the Priv, the Neon is expected to be a mid-range device. It also looks nothing like what you'd expect a BlackBerry phone to look like and is generic to a fault(think Nexus 5).

The Neon packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and 3GB of RAM. There will also be 16GB storage, 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, and a 2610 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.

The phone is expected to go on sale next month with a retail price of $350.
