Meet the Innos D6000; A Smartphone with a 6,000mAh Battery

A Lot of Smartphones these days have seemingly focused on design aesthetics and forgone a major selling force i.e a long lasting batteries. The Innos D6000 has put this need before itself and  has two batteries totaling 6,000mAh capacity. This lets you hot-swap either battery since the other battery is there to keep things running.
The internal battery is known to have a 2,480mAh capacity, and to top it off with a 3,520mAh battery. The official numbers promise a 3-5 days of heavy usage. The presence of the DuoCharge tech inside the phone can charge both batteries simultaneously, which should speed things along though the exact real life usage test are yet to be tested

Charging is done over the new reversible USB 3.1 Type-C port. With both batteries the Innos D6000 measures 11.9mm thick. The Phone will appeal to a lot of power users in need of a smartphone with a healthy battery life. The Innos D6,000 boasts a 5.2" 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3, a Snapdragon 615 chipset (octa-core A53 with Adreno 405) hooked up to 3GB of RAM and running Android 5.0 Lollipop. There's a MediaTek version too (D6000m) with 2GB of RAM. The presence of two different chipset variants signifies other market(or cheaper) models

When you pull the back cover off the D6000 you see a removable battery. But this is only half the tale as when you pull it out the phone will stay on. That's because it has an internal, sealed battery as well. The two work together, draining and charging at the same time, so you're never just using one battery to empty then starting to use the other. Of course, it also means so long as the internal battery has some charge you can swap out the removable one to keep on trucking even longer.
