ZTE recently officially revealed the Axon Max, a new handset that was first spotted in October. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. The ZTE Axon Max is a pretty big handset: it sports a 6-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels (not 1440 x 2560 pixels, as initially believed).

This device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop but no word on Marshmallow yet. The Axon Max is built around a metal frame. The smartphone features LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, microSD card support, and a generous 4140 mAh battery. The front camera of the Axon Max is a 13 MP one, while a 16 MP camera sits on the back alongside a fingerprint scanner.

In China, the ZTE Axon Max will cost around $460 (2,999 CNY) off contract
