Polaroid unveils the Polaroid Power and Polaroid Snap Android Smartphones

This year at CES, two new Polaroid branded handsets have been unveiled. Both are actually made by Southern Telecom, which licensed the famous name from the camera manufacturer.

The Polaroid Power features a 6-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution screen. An octa-core CPU is under the hood. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of internal storage. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, and a front-facing 8MP camera comes with a flash for selfies. Their is a 3000mAh battery present for all your power needs, and the phone is priced at $249.99 off contract

The Polaroid Snap offers three different variants with a 5-inch, 5.5-inch or 6-inch screen. Each display carries a 720 x 1280 resolution, and all three versions are powered by a quad-core CPU with 2GB of RAM inside. 16GB of native storage is inside, and the camera combo weighs in at 13MP/5MP. There is a selfie flash for the front-facing camera. The price of the Snap ranges from $129.99 to $179.99, and is based on the screen size.

The Polaroid Snap and its three variants will be available starting next month, while the Polaroid Power will be released in the spring
