Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro: The Bold 6incher

The Vibe Z2 Pro’s has it's biggest highlight to be the 6- inch Quad HD display at the front that will still be visible comfortably under bright shining light.
Just like the Lenovo Vibe Z2, this is a slim device at 7.7 mm while its weight is a paltry 179 grams (for a 6- inch phablet) in this era of lightweight tablets and phablets where in such instances less is more. In which case you get more portability and more accommodating handling without tiring out.
The OS is Android 4.4 KitKat, a small let down as the 5.0 lollipop is on everyone's lip these days. On the hardware part of its operations is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chip accommodating 2.5 GHz of processing power. At this point, you then realize that the Nexus 6 might have regained the upper hand since it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and uses the superior Snapdragon 805 processor. With the kind of display that the Vibe Z2 Pro employs, maybe the designers should have opted for the Snapdragon 805. Not a big deal though!
32GB built- in storage space is the only option for saving files and installing applications on this phablet since there is no slot for a micro SD card. The RAM on the other hand is impressive at 3GB.
Just like in the Lenovo Z2, the camera has optical image stabilization but with a superior sensor of 16 megapixel that can record 2160p (4K) video which will still be great on a large screen. The general design still being the same, the camera and its dual LED flash are located on the left hand side of the black strip that runs on the upper side of the posterior panel of this device. At the front is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The Chinese manufacturer ensured that this handset comes in dual- SIM configuration with dual- standby. It is awesome that there is an FM radio, Near Field Communication (NFC), high speed Bluetooth and Wi- Fi for your other connectivity needs. A dedicated in- built amplifier is part of the entertainment package for enhanced sound quality of multimedia viewing when using headsets.
The dual SIM- card slot and the power/lock buttons are located on the right hand side while the volume rocker is located on the left.
Hidden beyond reach inside the unibody of the Z2 Pro is a massive Li-Po 4,000mAh battery that will allow you up to 45 hours talk- time. There are cool power saving modes which include normal, power saving and emergency. They can be manipulated using the handy power manager app which has some pretty cool diagnostic indicators for the level of charge left on the battery and how it could be optimized in order to get the most out of your smartphone.
